CLEARWATER, FL – The Southern University Lady Jaguars (0-3) fell to Louisville (2-1) at the National Fastpitch Coaches Association D1 Leadoff Classic at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Louisville started the scoring in the bottom of the first off a two-run home run off the bat of Taylor Roby.
- After a triple to open the bottom of the second, Louisville scored on a sacrifice fly and another triple, giving them a 4-0 lead after two innings.
- The Cardinals added three more in the third and fourth innings.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Louisville out hit Southern 8-1.
- Each team committed one error.
- Louisville left four runners on base, while Southern left none.
- The Lady Jaguars did not draw any walks and struck out nine times.
- Alana Mark had the lone hit for the Lady Jaguars.
- Roby led Louisville by going 2-for-2 with two RBIs off a home run. Paige Geraghty had five RBIs in a 2-for-3 effort.
