The Southern University sports information department is
currently seeking students to join its staff to assist with various aspects
of the department.
The Southern SID Office is seeking students who need work experience/internships, and the students will assist with gameday operations, as well as game preparation for the various fall sports. Students will work under the direction of SID, Kevin Manns. Duties can include spotting for stat takers, to writing information for game notes, helping with updating the SU website and various postgame duties, from copying to dissemination of game stats, to working with the TV companies that televise SU games. This is the perfect opportunity for students who are interested in the sports information industry to get valuable work experience and knowledge of the field. This IS NOT A PAID POSITION!
