BATON ROUGE - Southern University Track and Field wrapped up the outdoor regular season with nine Top 10 finishes Saturday, April 20 at the LSU Alumni Gold meet at Bernie Moore Track Stadium. 

Three Jaguars, Raelynn Price, Jada Bryan, and Sydney Minor, finished the 800-meter run in the top 10 this past weekend and remain in the top ten on the Southwestern Athletic Conference list as a result of the strong outing. 
“We had 25 athletes compete this weekend and they all had pretty solid performances,” said Head Coach Teremine White. 
Raelynn Price continued her outstanding performance this weekend with a second place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.71. Price sits third on the SWAC list.  Freshman Jada Bryan took fourth with a time of 2:16.48. Bryan is currently seventh on the SWAC performance list. Freshman Sydney Minor finished seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:17.29. Minor sits ninth in the SWAC conference. 
On the men’s side, Artis McCoy led the men’s team in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash with a second place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.60 and taking fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.36. These are both personal records for McCoy as well. McCoy is currently tied for eighth with a time of 10.60 in the SWAC conference and sits sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.34. 
Charles Clark took tenth at the LSU Alumni Gold in the Discus with a throw of 42 meters (137’9”). Clark is fourth on the SWAC performance list with a throw of 45.51 meters (149’4”). 
The Jaguars will observe a weekend off before traveling to the 2019 Outdoor SWAC Championships hosted by Prairie View A&M University on May 3 in Prairie View, Texas.
