BATON ROUGE -- Southern University baseball three-game win streak halted at the hands of a 13-0 shutout to Air Force Monday afternoon at Alex Box Stadium.

The Jaguars stranded 11 baserunners as Air Force scattered seven hits through nine innings. Southern also committed three errors in the loss.

Hunter David went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Southern will be off after playing four games in four days to open the 2019 season before traveling to Natchitoches to face Northwestern State in a three-game series starting Friday night at 6 p.m.
