BATON ROUGE -  Two Southern University Track and Field athletes made the All-Louisiana Track and Field Best Times, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association unveiled Sunday, July 7. 
2019 SWAC Indoor and Outdoor throwing champion Faith Estelle threw a personal best of 56.50 meters ( 185'4") at the 2019 SWAC Championships in the hammer throw. Estelle placed second on the All-Track and Field Best Times. Estelle ended her career with over ten first-place finishes in the weight throw and hammer throw and added two gold medals one in the weight throw and one in the hammer throw in her final SWAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. 
Freshman Nicholas Scott finished his first season by placing seventh in the 800-meter run at the SWAC Championship. Scott ranked third on the All- Louisiana Track and Field Best Times with a time of 1:52.44. Scott also placed sixth at the 2019 Indoor SWAC Championship in the 800-meter run.  Scott finished his first season with over five first-place finishes and placed top nine at the indoor and outdoor championship in the 800-meter run.
