BATON ROUGE -- Southern University women's tennis team faced-off against #18 LSU, Sunday evening as the Jaguars closed out LSU double-header home-opener at the LSU Tennis Complex falling, 4-0.

On court three LSU ranked-duo of Corley and Bridges claimed their second win of the day after defeating Anya King and Nandi Munyulwa, 6-0.

Their ninth-ranked tandem of Richardson and Golovin clinched the point after finishing 6-1 over Tanaka Chakunyuka and Rufaro Chirewa on court one to give LSU the 1-0 lead.

Southern will be back in action Sunday, February 10 at the University courts versus Louisiana Tech. First touch is scheduled for 9 am.
