Payments for 2013 Football Season Books will begin on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 8 a.m. Please note that The Southern University Ticket Office is located near the service entrance at the F.G. Clark Activity Center. Our telephone number is (225) 771-3171. Our office hours (for season book sales only) are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fans are asked to disregard the hours of operations attached with the season book invoices.
Regular office hours will resume August 12, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Just as last year, in an effort to allow you more time to pay for your season books, we will print your tickets in-house as opposed to sending to a printing company which takes about four weeks to process. Please note that if someone other than yourself will be paying for your season books, he/she will receive your books and will be asked to sign for the tickets. If you will be mailing in your payment, we will mail your season books to you. Please remember to indicate on the invoice if you wish to pay for Bayou Classic tickets with your season tickets. We cannot charge the additional amount unless you request it on the invoice.
Payment for Bayou Classic tickets will be accepted at the time of season book payment. Tickets are $42 for plaza/loge sideline and $30 for plaza/loge endzone. At this time, we are not able to assign seats to your account. Once the event is on the system, we will assign seats according to the seat location you purchased for the 2012 Bayou Classic. Please note that the seats will be on the opposite side this year. If you will be mailing your payment, please add the amount for Bayou Classic tickets to your total. Please remember that you will only be allowed to pay for the same number of Bayou Classic tickets as the number of season books purchased during the renewal period.
If you purchased parking in 2012, you will have an assignment on your invoice. If you are interested in reserved parking, there are spaces available in Lot I. If any other areas become available, we will sell them on a first come, first serve basis. There is no waiting list, so please check with us periodically for availability. Please note that parking passes will no longer be mailed. If you purchase a parking pass, the pass will be available for pick-up beginning approximately two weeks before the first home game. Please have your receipt when picking up your pass.
We would like to remind you that, as stated on each ticket, we are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. However, if your season tickets are stolen (not lost) we will reprint your account once you provide a police report and a $25 reprint fee. If your parking pass is stolen (not lost) we will require a police report along with a replacement fee and the original cost of the pass. For example, if your pass was $50, you will be required to pay $100 to replace the pass. Please take extra precaution to keep your season tickets and/or parking passes secure.
If you make your payment during the month of June, you will receive a $15 discount for being an "Early Bird".
Methods of payment accepted include cash, money orders, certified or cashiers' checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please note that due to University Policy, we are no longer able to accept personal checks. Payments are also accepted by mail (no telephone or fax payments accepted). If you decide to pay by mail, please be sure your payment reaches us by August 8, 2013. If your payment is not in our office (even if it is post-marked by this date), we cannot guarantee processing. Please mail payments to Southern University Ticket Office, PO Box 10065, Baton Rouge, LA 70813. Your entire account must be paid in full by the due date.
If you are a Southern University employee and will be paying by payroll deduction, please pick up a form at the Ticket Office and fill it out reflecting the exact total of your deduction. Once the form is completed, it must be signed at the Office of Human Resources before we can accept your payment. You will not be able to change the amount on your form once it is signed by the Director of Human Resources. Deductions can be taken out from June to November. If for some reason you resign from the university before all payments are collected, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount at the cashier's office. If you fail to pay the balance before leaving the university, it will be sent to a collection agency for immediate action.
Group discount for season books introuduce in 2012 are available in 2013 with the addition of one home game on the schedule. If you purchase twenty (20) or more season books, you can get each ticket for as low as $11 each per game. Fans who purchase five or more of the five-ticket books at $60 per book will receive each ticket for as low as $11 each per game.
In addition to the group sales discount of 20 percent on 20 or more season books, Southern is instituting a 20 percent discount on season book purchases made by first-time season book purchasers who are SU alumni 35 years or younger.
The deadline for payment is Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Management reserves the right to delete any account not paid or received in our office by this date.
