Payments for 2014 Football Season Books will begin on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the F.G. Clark Activity Center (Service Entrance). Our telephone number is (225) 771-3171. Our office hours (for season book sales only) are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Regular office hours will resume August 12, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tickets will be issued at the time of payment. If paying for your season tickets by mail, your order will be processed and sent back to you by mail. Please remember to indicate on the invoice if you wish to pay for Bayou Classic tickets. We cannot charge the additional amount for Bayou Classic unless you request it on the invoice.
Payment for Bayou Classic tickets will be accepted at the time of season book payment. Tickets are $42 for plaza/loge sideline and $30 for plaza/loge endzone. Please remember that you will only be allowed to pay for the same number of Bayou Classic tickets as the number of season books purchased during the renewal period. Additional Bayou Classic tickets will be available from October 6-10, 2014.
If you purchased parking in 2013, you will have an assignment on your invoice. Reserved parking in Lot I (Law Center) is available for $60. At this time, all other lots are sold out. Please check periodically for cancellations. If you purchase handicap parking, you will no longer have a reserved, numbered spot. You are guaranteed a spot in the handicap lot but not a specific numbered space.
We cannot replace lost season tickets. However, if your season tickets are stolen, we will reprint your account once you provide a police report and a $25 reprint fee. We cannot replace parking passes. Please take extra precaution to keep your season tickets and/or parking passes secure.
-If you pay for your season tickets during the month of June, you will receive a $15 discount per account.
-Purchase 20 or more season books and receive a 20% discount per book.
-If you are an alumnus of Southern University, 35 years old or younger and will be a first time season book holder, you can receive a 20% discount on each season book purchased. You must present ID when applying.
-For only $75 more, for each football season book purchased, you can add a season book for the upcoming basketball and baseball seasons.
All forms of payment, except personal/business checks, are accepted. If paying by mail, please be sure we receive your payment by August 1, 2014. Please mail payments to Southern University Ticket Office, P.O. Box 10065, Baton Rouge, LA 70813. Your entire account must be paid in full by the due date.
If you are a Southern University employee and will be paying by payroll deduction, please pick up a form at the Ticket Office and fill it out reflecting the exact total of your deduction. Once the form is completed, it must be signed at the Office of Human Resources before we can accept your payment. You will not be able to change the amount on your form once it is signed by the Director of Human Resources. Deductions can be taken out from June to November. If for some reason you resign from the university before all payments are collected, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount at the cashier’s office. If you fail to pay the balance before leaving the university, it will be sent to a collection agency for immediate action.
The deadline for payment is Friday, August 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Payment not received in our office by the deadline date may result in deletion of account.
