After starting 0-4, Southern women's tennis will look to extend its current win streak to five when they travel to New Orleans to face Xavier University Friday, March 1.

Doubles action is slated to start at 3 p.m. with singles matches following at the XU Tennis Center on the Xavier-New Orleans campus.

Southern (4-4) returns to action after going undefeated during last weekend's SWAC West Tennis Roundup in Baton Rouge. The Lady Jaguars, who have won the conference title three consecutive years, posted wins over UAPB (6-0), Alabama A&M (6-0), Grambling (7-0), and Alcorn State (6-1).

Senior Lois Alexis lead Southern with a 6-2 singles record followed by sophomore Camara Davis, who is 5-1 in singles matches.

The Lady Jaguars will wrap up the weekend with a road game against Southeastern in Hammond Sunday, March 3.
