ATLANTA-Southern University went 0-3 (25-23, 25-21, 25-17) in their season opener against the Bulldogs of UNC Asheville in the Georgia Tech Invitational. 

Senior outside hitter, Shelby Jolly, led the team in kills (7), 2 blocks, and 2 assists.

 Setter Princess Stark had 18 assists, 6 kills, 2 aces. Outside hitter, Imani Litz also followed with another ace.

Senior, Brianna Hawkins, completed 10 digs, 2 blocks, 2 assists and 1 aces.

Outside hitter Jada Carter followed with 6 kills and 11 digs, while Khari Woods finished with 12.

The Jaguars return to the court Saturday for two matches starting with host team, Georgia Tech at 1 p.m. They will complete the weekend with a match against Long Beach State 4 p.m.
