Tryout for the 2019-20 Southern University Co-ed and All-Girls Cheerleaders is scheduled for May 3-5 on the Baton Rouge campus, athletics officials announced Wednesday.

Note that all necessary paperwork/forms must be completed and submitted prior to May 3rd.  Please make sure to provide a copy of a physical examination from within the past year and proof of medical insurance. 

All incoming freshmen must be provisionally admitted to Southern University and A&M College before they are eligible to tryout. (SUSLA students are NOT PERMITTED to tryout).  There will also be a non-refundable $25 registration fee (check and or money order made out to SU Cheerleading Foundation) (Athletics in the memo) due during registration on Day 1 (MAY 3rd) of tryouts.

A one-time fee of $300 is due by July 8th for all prospective athletes.
