Christopher Crenshaw enters his 2nd season coaching at Southern. Coach Crenshaw was very valuable on helping guide the Jaguars to the 2019 SWAC Western Division Champions, as well as 2019 Conference Tournament Champions and earning a bid to the NCAA Starkville Regional Tournament. Coach Crenshaw joined the Jaguars in January 2019 as a assistant coach.
Crenshaw is entering his 9th season of collegiate coaching, having spent the 5 previous years at Jackson State University and 2 years at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
During his time at JSU, he served as the Recruiting Coordinator and pitching coach.

During his 2 years at Southwest Tennessee Community College, he served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator as well and helped several players move along to 4 year institutions.
Crenshaw, a Memphis native who played at Southwest Tennessee, Southern University, and Bethel University, earned a degree in Physical Education.
