Southern will look to repeat its feat as the only SWAC team to defeat Texas Southern and snap a two-game losing streak when the Jaguars invade Houston Thursday night.

Tipoff is scheluded for 5:30 p.m.

Texas Southern, winners of 15 straight, last lost came against of Southern Jan. 2 in Baton Rouge. Since then, the Lady Tigers have rolled on their way to claiming the program's first regular season title in head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke's first year.

Meanwhile, Southern, which posted an 8-game win streak of its own, has lost two straight and are presently tied for the No. 2 seed in the 2013 SWAC Tournament. The Jaguars are coming off a 65-54 loss to Alcorn State on senior night.

Southern will conclude the SWAC regular season when they face Prairie View A&M live on the SWAC Digital Network Saturday, March 2 at 3 p.m.
